Gross margins inched up from 43.43 to 43.5. Whew!!!!! A 0.16 % gross margin improvement may not be much but at least they did not go down.
Dont look for 40's this year though unless 3Coms deal with TCI for cable modems really starts paying off.
Or on the other hand if everybody starts buying a 3Com V.90 modem then maybe WS will step on the gas. Seriously I will be buying a 3Com V.90 internal (now that it is at $129) because the Newcom X2 compatible modem I have really sucks. Drops calls, make wierd noises, does not hang up and then I have to reboot the machine.
Spread the word. BUY 3COM V.90 MODEMS OR REPENT.

Joe, Way to go COMS. I just saw the results on briefing. Is there a conference call? If the guidance is even okay, shorts will be tripping and falling all over themselves trying to cover. May be time for me to get back in now.
