<<What is significant is that RNTK felt the news was significant enough to warrant filing an 8-K over it... >>

Naw, it doesn't follow that because RNTK filed an 8-K the news was therefore significant. Many companies automatically file an 8-K to correspond with any release they give out over PRN. The 8-K filing itself is a CYA move, although the press release is arguably significant.

I think you're right Bill Fischofer.

I agree with you that the significance is that RNTK thought this press release was worth the hassles of filing an 8-K. But then again, maybe it wasn't RNTK's idea? Another certain little oil company might actually be using RNTK's 8-K to cover it's pre-annoucement backside. Since it would not be prudent for that oil company to release an announcment at this time about RNTK, this could be their way of making sure that the world knows about the talks in case any questions come up later.

Excellent find, Bill. I agree the fact that they filed the statement with the SEC is indeed significant!!
