Killibrew did play for the Senators. I remember Edie Yost as well.

I don't want to disrupt this thread because the topic and commentary are great, but can't resist a follow-up on the Senators. Killebrew did play for them, and they had several good to near great pitchers (Camilo Pascual, Pedro Ramos, Chuck Stobbs...). I missed Harmon because he joined the team in the mid 50's when, for 3 years they changed their name to Washington "Nationals" - I have no other excuse for my negligence. Then they changed back to "Senators" until they moved to Minnesota in the early '60s.
