I'm sure your husband must have been quite intelligent to have married a smart lady like you.

My own theory is that our expectations for the valuations at the bottom need to be adjusted by the overall market valuation. With the S&P trading at all time high p/e, I don't know whether it is realistic to expect AMAT to get down to the PSRs of past bottoms. I've been trying to figure out where to find records of S&P earnings or p/e during prior downturns, so I could calculate an appropriate fudge factor. So far no luck; will probably try the library next.
