It's my understanding that crude oil production within the
United States is in trouble, and headed for more if crude prices
stay down. An iffy proposition. Coal I would have to read up on.

The obvious alternative strategy would seem to be "to select and purchase only the properties determined by the above referenced studies that have the least potential to economically and profitably produce oil, gas, coal, or a combination thereof."

Are you entirely sure we can't argue a case for mediocrity and ambiguity here? I did think the press release should be awarded points in Category Number 2, at least...
