Mark, you may have unwittingly put your finger onto the problem. Remember, headquarters is in El Segundo, California; not Boston, Massachusetts.

One thing that's crucial for PR/IR relations is communication. I'm certain the long distance and different time zones were not helpful, and likely created problems not thought possible when the firm was first hired.

Think about it. Most politicians have their PR folks working in their offices, even on airplanes or wherever they go. Why should Zulu be any different?

Regarding the Boston firm? Somebody good needed to answer the call for Zulu at the time the firm was hired and that was when Lair was at the helm.

Today, there's a whole new team at the top. I'm certain that this team realizes that it needs its IR/PR department close to home. I predict we'll see a West Coast IR/PR replacement. Remember, somebody from ESVS/Zulu came from Hodes, and that's a big name on the PR front, so they'll know exactly how to find the right one.

So I would just look for further maturity on this issue, and not put much worry into it.
