"May we please stay with Eze. for the time being. I will be happy to study other verses when we are through"

That is prcisely your problem. The messianics have twisted your mind and made you believe that you can understand the Old Testament without the New. It is the New that reveals and gives light to the prophecies because Jesus fulfilled the prophecies.

You would like to isolate the prophecies and look at them only inreference to modern Judaism without looking at the revelations in the New. You will never be able to understand the Old T without grasping the New.

You have been deceived into believing you can isolate two chapters in Ezekiel and understand endtime prophecies. On top that, you begin all your studies of the Scriptures with the preconceived idea that you know who the descendants of Abraham are today.
With this type of mindset it is impossible for you to understand the prophecies or the Word of God in general.

Dear Donald,
You asked a good question that I have a hard time understanding is why it would bother some that God (Yeshua) would again bless Israel. If we were saying this could happen without accepting Yeshua I could see a problem but according to Zachariah it will be with mourning for the One they have pierced, who else could that be? Why would the Hebrew language be so offensive to anyone? I have never said that everyone will have to speak Hebrew only God knows how He chooses to communicate and anyway is great to me. The Hebrew prayers are beautifull to me for that is the way Yeshua, Paul, Peter etc.. prayed in the Temple and I feel a oneness with them as well as King David, Ezekiel, Moses and the many others. The One being prayed to is the magical part of prayer in any language. I like to ask people at our Congregation from other Countries to pray in their own language and enjoy the greatness of the Kingdom of Messiah.
I read last night that someone either Chris or Emile thinks that Stephen was a Gentile and that shocked me. He addressed the Jews as his brothers and he used terms like our forefathers. Have you ever heard anyone say this before?
May Yeshuas love fill your heart with joy,
Nancy

<< Why does it bother you to think God may bless Israel as well as the Church.>>

It does not bother me and I never said God can not somehow bless Israel. but God will never honor a religious system that denies His son.

<< God brought them back into the land.>>

On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abraham, saying, To your descendents I have given this land, From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates........

Except for a small stretch I see Jordan, Syria and Lebanon occupying the land that you claim the Israelites have been given back. In fact even in the times of King David and Solomon they never possessed all the land. In the time of Jesus the whole land was controlled by Rome.

Do you believe that the Israelites should take those promised lands back by bloodshed, even the ones they were promised but never once possessed?

If a man is a Christian do you think God would authorize the present state of Israel of seize his land?

Chris
