The last few days news is really no effect on RMBS fundamentals. The RMBS bulls must be all young folks as to get excited so easily. Many big companies license RMBS technology is no big deal, as they license lots of technologies from many companies. The revenue of RMBS is miserably small, so you can see the royalty fees it gets from those many big companies must be very small fraction of the products they sell. Still the big companies are very smart, they are working on the alternative to RMBS chips. One day, not far away from now, they can avoid paying Rambus royalty fees. Young RMBS bulls watch out for this, pretty soon RMBS will be out of business without warning.
