<<Gary, shorting in this market is for those who can sleep very well when a grossly over valued short position goes even higher. Those who can't sleep or are in pain should not be playing. It is not crazy to be short a stock like AMZN at $100, crazy is being long.>>

Intellectually, Roger, I know you should be right. In truth, I am not so sure. Of course, AMZN will have its day of reckoning. That is as sure as the sun coming up....What I see, however, is a number of folks who have never experienced the carnage of a rampant stock which never blinked during the recent correction and continues to move up daily. Some fortunes are being wiped out as margin calls hit them daily...AMZN has shown why shorting, despite all the fundamental arguments in the world, should be the business of folks with uncanny savvy and extremely deep pockets. I am sorry for those who have lost so much.

Mike

I've seen that there is a huge short position in ADVH. As I've looked at the company, it seems to have a high cash position, growing earnings and trades at low Price/Book, Price/Sales and Price/Earnings ratios. It is trading near its 52 week lows.
I'm curious to know who is shorting it and the rationale for maintaining a short position, particularly with such a heavy short position threatening an enormous short-covering rally?
Thanks,
Baird

Well Roger, if it was crazy to buy long at $100 it was worse to short it at $50. I don't even follow the thing, but you can't help but see it (the price that is) when every rally boosts the stock 10%

I hope you're not short this dog.
