Tim,

Anecdotal evidence: While at the DELL outlet yesterday, obtaining my new Inspiron(! nice machine!!!! w/docking station and interchangeable CD-ROM and 3.5" floppy drive) and workstation, my salesperson pointed out another fellow, and told me, you didn't buy much...

So naturally I had to talk to the stranger. He works for iChat... Had two vans full of boxes.

Furthermore, the employees at the store are counting on a stock split. We were there just after the market closed, so I asked what the closing price was. One fellow, a two-year employee, said, "93 1/8"! I guessed that he might be a fellow shareholder, and asked how many shares he had. "120, 240 soon", he replied. Upon my query, he admitted, I don't know that DELL is splitting, I'm just hoping."
