If you can't argue the facts, argue the law. If you can't argue the law, BS.

Obviously that came from the FBN Lawyers: Doowee, Cheatum and Howe....

As usual for a basher, Wireless wonk presented only a fraction of the picture to make a point that fit his argument regarding Zeigler coals valuation relative to the claims made by MTEI. Below is what he failed to dislcose.

First, Zeigler's $600 million in coal sales was produced by only $33 million tons sold, which generated $108 million in operating earnings. At this rate of production it would take 33 years for Zeigler to sell off its 1.1 billion in reserves. At the end of the day, the timing of its cash flows significantly impacts the company's valuation. Second, I nor anyone else knows when the land Zeigler owns was purchased. That land could have been purchased 50 years ago for all we know. Given the GAAP uses historical accounting, the land would be valued on the Balance sheet at the cost it was purchased for 50 years ago. Balance sheet values for a mining company have little or no meaning for the purpose of securities valuation. The claim MTEI made is $200 million in market value.

One of the primary unknowns here with MTEI is how long will it take for them to mine their reserves. cash flow, cash flow, cash flow...this is what will be a key determination in MTEI's future value.

Well, WW, at least he didn't call you a "neophyte."' Now that would have been tragic.

A shame Macker didn't answer any questions, such as why the book value was constantly changing in his posts, where the "hundreds of thousands" of acres went to, and what MTEI (Prounounced "empty mine"?) plans are for delivering electricity.

Great DD, indeed.
