Carl, for information regarding the cost of the programs see the site, the address is listed in one of Optim's post. Basically there are 2 different programs, NGO and Profit. NGO is a neural net optimizer, meaning it'll give you it's 10 most accurate nets. Profit is an add-on that focuses on identifying the most profitable nets. You need NGO to run Profit. The number of inputs vary with each model. Both make predictions. Your inputs and output selection are the meat and potatoe of both programs. The inputs, and preprocessing of them, vary with your choice of outputs. It is helpful to be able to look at data in different ways. Downloading is simple or complex depending again on you inputs, preprocessing requirements, and your outputs. Neither program is a crystal ball, but those that are imaginative and skilled will, IMO, achieve very good to excellant results. I downloaded the NGO demo a couple of weeks ago when Optim mentioned it, and am finally catching on to it. Optim's the real expert on it, and is a wealth of information. If you're new to neural nets, I would recommend that you download Neurostock, which is a more basic, user-friendlier neural net prediction program at neurostock.com. I'm following a stable of 12 stocks on a daily basis with it, and am getting excellant results with 10 of them. The other 2 just go up whether I get a buy or sell signal. It's probably the way I programed the net. When you're comfortable with Neurostock, then download NGO. Where Neurostock simply gives buy and sell signals, NGO will give you it's prediction of the dollar or percentage increase/decrease over a period of time, but you need to tell it what you want and preprocess your data accordingly. Regarding the Profit program, I only know what I read on the site, or found out from Optim, the sales rep, and support. They don't have a demo so I have no hands on experience with it, but Optim does. He's the man to ask Hope this was helpful. Len G
