>>>Any decision that is made on 'my behalf' and of which I have no control over, is a government action in my book.<<<

The trouble with letting companies rule us is the same as the trouble with feudalism, but to a greater degree.

They only will consider or make decisions about those matters that directly affect their own income, and all decisions will be made based on the principle of maximising their income, mostly in the short term.

That's great if you don't need a sewer system to keep down the rats.

Hi Norm,

I'm not a big fan of Bill myself. Perhaps I come across as a sort of chameleon here because I've championed MSFT there and about.

I will explain that, when I wrote the glowing stuff about MSFT, it was because I was getting paid by them (not to write that stuff by the way). Now that I'm outside of the company again, I can say what I want and:

That place gives me the creeps. Many of the people there seem devoid of any "social" sense.

I knew one woman there who said something along the lines of, "Bill would be the best dictator to take the human race to the stars."

I suppose one should always keep in mind that MSFT isn't a corporation, it's a religion.

FWIW
