Bill, I am puzzled about one particular item in TAVA's 10Q.

There is an asset of $8,109,000 for "Excess of Cost over Fair Value" of certain assets. How can this be? It was always my understanding that conservative accounting practice required that assets be shown as the lower of cost or fair value.

Your comments would be appreciated.

Mr. Wexler, thank you for all your work and your insights, a friend told me about this thread about a month ago, and it has become a favorite.

I fear that TAVA will run up before it runs down, so I have only dipped a little toe in the water, in case it gets hot. <gggg>
