Alan, thank you for this valuable post, it will help me understand Messianic Judaism. I'm printing it out to study.

I note the document uses G-d and L-rd, no doubt in tradition to avoid taking the name of Yahweh in vain, 3rd commandment. Consider how in Israel's temple songs God's name appeared a thousand times, as shown in the 150 Psalms. The priests sang it repeatedly as they ascended the steps to Jehovah's holy temple.

Consider, please, whether this tradition agrees with Psalm 44:20, 79:6 and conforms to Isaiah 43:10 & 12 and Malachi 3: 16-18.

It does not dishonor Jehovah to say His name, to the contrary He and his servants said it almost 7,000 times in scripture.

May Jehovah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you and your family Peace, Alan and Nancy.
