Are we heading or already in irrational exuberance levels? Yes. Here's a cut from today's Infrastructure Daily Note regarding Eaton. First of all, Carl notes that Eaton is a premier supplier of Ion Implanters. Second of all, Carl notes that Ion Implanters have become an increasingly important step in the manufacturing of semiconductors, and hence are a good indication of what's happening out there: Stephen R. Hardis, Eaton's chairman and CEO: "Today, industry orders are fully one third lower than six months ago--equal to the lowest levels in the past half decade, with no sign of an imminent upturn in sight," he added. Rest assured, all of the front end equipment vendors are feeling the same pain. F.
