Matrox Millenium ...Mystique
I do not see many differences either. The Mystique looks like it has some additional support for Quake. Also the software bundle is game based. Hopefully someone else knows.

Three differences I see.

1. Primarily speed on the RAMDAC. Millenium has 250Mhz ramdac, Miystique only has a 230. Difference for most people here nill. difference if your running 1600x1200 resolution or higher is huge.

2. Software bundle. targetting different sets of users.

3. Mystique can drive a TV set. millenium can't....

A Call to matrox would confirm this and others.

BTW: Running 256 colors is poor choice. color map problems galor. seriously consider 16 bit color a minimum in ANY resolution.
