You're not only naive. You need to learn English.
The stores stock the shelves not only in anticipation of demand
but in response to demand trends. You're only exposing your
extreme ignorance when you use the phrase "demand in store
inventory to satisfy buyers" since obviously not all inventory
is there to satisfy buyers. Heard of unsold goods and spoiled
merchandise. Try again, thread moron.
