Bob, I have felt like this for months. The economy is weakening and inflation is at an all time low, yet there is fear that rates may have to be hiked. The overvalued stock market is the culprit. This was a contributing factor to the Great Depression. There were some measures taken to avoid a repeat of this such as higher margin requirements, etc. However, the underlying problem was not addressed. Therefore we see different symptoms such as the internet mania, rumor mongering, and frothy M&A activity and the derivative rumors. Joe
