<< Where was yesterday's sell-off? <g> >>
It got stuck in my pocket. -g-
In the first 1 1/2 hours of trading today NYSE traded 202 mil shares and NAZ traded 290 mil shares. That is the equivalent of 875 mil and 1250 mil per day. yesterday Naz almost had a bil shares traded (about 930 mil) and NYSE volume was heavy too (720 mil plus.) The previous day it was a tad below 700 mil for NYSE and 800 mil for NASD.
I would say this, steep up days (like the ones we have seen in the last week) with a volume combination of 575-610 on Nyse and 700-750 on the naz is good for the bulls. But this kind of steep surge in volume with steep surge in markets indicates only one thing: parakashta
If you want to know what that means, open your Sanskrit to English dictionary. -g-
