Henry:
What do you make of the low volumes of late.
The business of the altered thyroid axis is interesting, and I have to admit that I cannot figure out why it would be present in the CTLC patients, but not in patients with other malignancies. I hope that this does not present too much of a problem for widespread use.
I am very impressed with Ligand's presence in an increasing number of medical forums. It was not too long ago that it was primarily present in only cancer circles. I just wish the stock price reflected the magnitude of the science. Time and patience I guess. Dan

HENRY--Thank you for the abstracts--I read them all but did not understand even superficially most of them. I did conclude that Targretin is not going to be useful for CTCL because of the side effects. Is that correct? It would be very useful if for each of these abstracts you could give a brief translation of the work and its importance. Otherwise 90% of these abstracts are noise--in other words I understand only 10% of these abstracts. TIA.

Henry, I really appreciate the opportunity to read all this salacious material about rodents. Any chance of viewing the films?
I'm afraid the failure to delete the reference about Copenhagen rats will be taken personally by Torben when he gets the opportunity to leave that most wondrous window of his & read these abstracts.
Be prepared for outrage from the matrons for mentioning such things as promiscuous coupling and young virgin females offered up to male rats.
In humans, the female seems perfectly capable of selecting rats for promiscuous coupling on her own, without the help of the scientific community.
