I'm very pleased with the way Holland is playing right now, though it should be 3-0. As for that yellow card Hernandez got, that was just too ridiculous for words. He DECKED our goalie! If Kluivert gets red for a shove, then Hernandez CERTAINLY deserves it for throwing our keeper on the ground. This referee is just plain awful. I hope he doesn't ruin the game...

Most on this thread are:
A: "Expecting" an Iran win or tie
B: Or "hoping" for an Iran win or tie

Why?

Is this reality, past resentment, or to teach a poster a lesson?

My own prediction puts Germany 2 x 1 Iran...

I suspect that what may seem "wild predictions" is due to dear Klaus show of German humility.....he, he, he...

As for:

"If Germans weren't so modest they could almost be perfect!" <ggg>

That must be the "little Argentinean in you".... he, he, he...

Now in all seriousness, if Germany does play well, Iran will not be a problem, but if they play as they did against the Yugos, the Iranians may give them a scare.... remember that the Iranians are well fired up after their victory against "the Great Satan"
