Maybe, but I know of a number of investors who will purchase a lot of shares at 55. IMHO, this is not the time to short chip stocks (or however RMBS may be characterized). Then again, anything is possible. Especially will all the soft money coming in and out. RMBS may indeed retest its lows before heading back up -- but I doubt it. And, FWIW, I hope it DOES go down to 45. Though I own some shares, I really missed the boat on this latest run....

The 50dma is 41.83, 200dma is 47.71. Normally 200 would provide support but there is a gap below it, so it's hard to tell. What one needs to remember is that this is a DRAM company and estimates for Fiscal year ended Sept. 99 is 43 cents. Sure they'll be getting royalties but so did TXN from every DRAM maker and they still lost money on their DRAM business. All IMO except the estimate which is from First Call.
