I have a lot of respect for James Blanchard and I didn't intend to cast him as a promoter of crooked schemes. A friend of mine into metals for many years once told me that these publishing houses put out a lot of this promotional crap and sometimes the analyst whose name gets printed across it doesn't even know what's being touted inside.

Goldbelt is entirely legit as far as I can see and is probably a good speculation at this point. Note, I said "speculation." However, when the stock price slides from the .60's to one cent to me an investor/speculator doesn't feel a whole lot better than the guy who picked up a little Bre-X at $2.50 before the announcement only to find he guessed wrong.

As far as I know, Goldbelt recently dumped all their Soviet holdings. It had to be over-hyped else why the retreat? I'm sure the people who bought at .60 feel scammed. Ray's point stands valid--beware of moose pastures. --Alan
