Hi Matt,

Parity is shareware, but since you can only purchase Parity Plus...essentially it's free? I like Parity a lot. It is easy to use and has a great matrix for using, let's say, 56 templates for a group of stocks quite nicely. It's from a win 31 era so no drag an drop. Also your line studies are not "live" and need to be redrawn each time.

Metastock is a great program but costs more. It has some short comings but for the $ I can tolerate them. Some things it does on the fly like period changes whereas Parity requires a reload . It also systemtests and scans whereas Parity does not. Parity Plus does and I have not tried that one. Metastock has a $ back policy.

If you only want to learn 1 and $ is a concern do Parity. It's just a download away, and it reads Meta stock format.

I think I have posted on the Parity thread some other stuff about it too.

as it is, I like em both
