heya craig. fancy meeting up with you here. I trust you're bearish on AMZN, like me. Today was definitely distribution day. 9 million shares traded, and closed down. You know what says something? Yesterday I put in an order before the open to buy AMZN July 85 puts. I wasn't watching the market when the order filled, but it filled at 9:43 AM. I think AMZN was somewhere near 95, according to the chart I saw, or 3 points up already on the morning surge. Price paid: 4-5/8. Bid at end of day today is 5, ask 5-1/2, with AMZN at 99 and change. So....demand is going up for puts. really weird though. Stock is 4 points higher, and it's two full days later, and those puts are bid 5, ask 5-1/2, almost a full point higher. I'm not looking at "last trade" either. CBOE and Schwab both say the same bid and ask.
