If true, that is great news. Maybe National could serve as a foundry for AMD and IDT, and start making some money ;^))

Steve,
IBM would be yielding higher speed grades as well if they were using their best process technology. One minute IBM says they are using .25u only later we find out that they are really using .30u. Tell tale sign is the core voltage of 2.5v on the PR333. It will be refreshing to see
PR400 parts on a real .25u process.

Considering what Halla said in the call about yields and the fact that the process at South Portland is more aggressive than IBM's 6S2, I'd say this rumor has a very good probability of being TRUE.
