>Thanks for posting that news about the private placement. >To put it in perspective, look back at my posting #92 >and the discussion that followed. mark. sincerely appreciate you digging through the archives to come up with that nugget. before my time on this board, and as a long-term holder, i clearly wasn't paying as much attention to my investments back then. but that's surely a good thing. thanks, i'm not as concerned anymore. initially, i was perturbed when i saw the release, especially in light of the serious mo' we've had. those mid-$50s are so elusive.... given the amount of time comverse sat on the last debenture (roughly 10 months before announcing the merger with boston), it'll be interesting to see whom they set their crosshairs on next. it's telecom mania out there.
