Do CSC and CA address Y2K assessment and remediation in embedded chips? If not, and their customers want them to do so, they would need a partner such as TAVA.

>> The second is assuming that outfits like TAVA are going to garner big contracts simply because they are in the business. Remember, they are up against heavy hitters like CSC and CA. These companies have long standing relationships with the big customers.<<

John, I take if you have done no DD on TAVA. TAVA's solutions do not address the IT side of the Y2K problem as the two companies you mention do. TAVA's expertise is in Embedded Controllers, primarily with Factory Automation; PLC's, SCADA, DCS (Micro-Processor/Micro-Controlled devices - hardware). They also have a partnership with RW Beck to address the Utility Industry, and CMED that will address the Medical/Hospital facilities and equipment.

Dear John, These are the companies that caused the problem and will be at the center of large multi-million dollar suits for negligence!!
