Off topic/options, atvi chart, random musings...

Hold them til Feb and you start making money at 13 5/8,
no thanks...but of course you wouldn't do that--
I'd hold them into a summer rally (hoping) and get out
with all your premium intact. But with no summer rally you
ought to be able to get out in a few months will nearly
all your money, sounds pretty good, don't think there is
too much downside to atvi anymore, seems to be
building a base at 9 1/2, but kind of low volume, thoughts?
quote.yahoo.com

(I'm waiting to get back in to atvi when it has proven to
have found it's base...most stocks I like I just buy, I want
to have a position at all times in those biotechs, atvi is an
entirely different beast for me, maybe trying to finesse it
is a bad idea, but I think I can wait a little longer...)

I don't play options anymore, I lost my limit this year
(a couple grand, no biggie) and on paper I would have
wiped myself out on Amazon puts, hehe, best trade this
year were the puts I never bought.

Of course half my stocks are flirting with my mental
stop of minus 20%, so what do I know! June has been a
rough month for me, hope July goes better, for me and
for ATVI.

Henry,

I've never made money on ATVI calls...but you're right, these look interesting.

Anyhow, compare BROD and ATVI. BROD went for $420 million in stock.
But what did BROD have anyway? Now look at ATVI. I think we can all see the value here.

ATVI is a total steal here. The market is pricing the company at $200 million. But, minus the 90 million in cash, ATVI is really only selling for $110 or $5.50.

Man, everytime I think about what a great opportunity this is for shareholders, I want to buy and buy and buy.

P.S. there is a rumor that ATVI will be developing a game based on Spiderman. Also, the title "Beneath", being developed by Presto Studios (Journeyman fame) for ATVI is being billed as the Tomb Raider killer.
