An hour ago I telephoned the local CompUSA to ask what notebooks they had in stock before I drove down. The fellow said they only had one, and IBM Thinkpad (Pentium II, 266). Asking about Compaq's, he said they didn't have any in stock but were expecting them to come in, in dribbles, over the next few weeks. According to the fellow, Compaq is coming out with new high end models that use non-Pentium processors. Because of the new models coming out, their [CompUSA's] inventory is zero. So, anyone hear about these new models? The sales fellow had no idea exactly what the models would be. Lynn
