After being long Mindsping I decided to short some today. I think we will see some serious profit taking in the internet sector in the next two weeks. MSPG is up 40 points from a few weeks ago.. Also, I think MSPG is in for some major competition from ADSL and Cable Modems...All the major companies are close to completion on upgrades and we should see ADSL and Cable available in a lot of Mindspring's main areas with 6 months.... That said I am concerned about a short squeeze...I think a lot of the run up on some of these companies has been due to a short squeeze and when short's are squeezed it can get nasty. Brewer made some comments today on CNBC stating that he could not understand the price. Three weeks ago 54 was over priced...now the stock is 95...
