Late Wednesday afternoon news of TAVA's L.A. contract hit the Internet. I informed my broker but he couldn't find it in the Dow Jones news. The late afternoon trading on that news was pretty active, and most likely, only from people using the internet news.

We scheduled a trading session for Thursday, at the open, to buy some TAVA. Still no Dow Jones about L.A.. I hastened my purchases a bit thinking for sure that news of such seeming significance would be hitting the Dow Jones news momentarily.

Apparently TAVA didn't consider the L.A. contract worthy of inclusion in the Dow Jones news. I learned a good lesson - Not to trade based on their press releases unless I know they have considered it significant enough to send to the brokers.

I think most of us would agree that the release of that news was significant to us and that its release to the brokers would have been helpful.
