Yeah, I did miss it. But, you know that it isn't good when they only mention rat once. Had they mentioned it several times, them maybe we would have seen a huge explosion in the price tomorrow. But, if we are lucky, we'll probably see gain of about a half.

Actually, all of the androgen data is pre-clinical (IND expected later this year with trials beginning early next year), but the markets are huge and at this time it's all LGND. Not sure if they will partner some of this out, but they are making remarkable progress in many areas and unlike the SERMs (where LGND has programs with LLY on Evista, PFE on Droloxifene and CP-366,156, and AHP on TSE424), so far LGND has grabbed the ball and is running with it on the SARMs.

Todays Ligand trading confirms my theory that a Ligand press release has to contain the word rat to be taken seriously by Wall Street.

And like FUGAZI yesterday the street at first had trouble to spot that all important word. But once they found it they started buying.
