I use Brown and the web site is very good for simple buy/sell option orders (i.e., no spreads). The next release (they told me today) will handle spreads but is a month away.

Hi, Aaron:

So far I have preferred Ameritrade over Etrade for trading of options.
Etrade allows one only to write put options against cash but not naked
calls. A few naked calls are sometimes useful as a porfolio hedge in
this uncertain time. Also, I like Ameritrade's margin requirements,
lower than that of Etrade's.Ameritrade's order-mechanism for spread
trades is just great. In general, I am very happy with Ameritrade. One final point: Ameritrade's accounting of liquation value is superior to the less accurate Etrade's equity accounting.

best regards,

pcyh
