You did not say in your first post that it was a rumour. You stated it as fact. If it is not true, you may well be looking at a lawsuit. The last two posts appear to be an attempt to weasel out of the statement you have made. If it is false, then proving that it is malicious will take no effort. You have opened yourself up to legal recourse not just by WSP but by anyone who claims to have lost money because of such a statement.
