load 500 days on chart. I really don't use QP for charting except a quick look. I tend to call up Adv GET or Metastock. most problems with indicators and their plotting is tied to the way EMAs are computed so the more price points, the different values of the MA.

Hi milesofstyles: You might want to make sure that you have the same periods in your charts and scans. In the charts, set the periods under Indicators, then Options. In the scans use this coding:

Set MACD = 5,35,4;

changing the periods to what you want.

I think the defaults are 12, 26, 9.

Still, as Richard said, you might find discrepancies, because MACD is based on EMA's, and as the help file says, "the value of an EMA calculation in your scans can be affected by ... the DaysToLoad function."
