Colleagues:

Threads, in many senses, are like people; probably because they are made up of individuals making comments. They grow and they change. This thread now has over 10,000 posts by hundreds of different posters. In the course of such extensive exchange, many of us have learned quite a bit and changed the way we think about investing and trading stocks.

It seems to me that it is somewhat academic as to whether or not individual comments adhere to the original statement regarding the purpose of this thread. It has changed over the year and is not the same thread it was when it started. We are all better for it. Those of us who religiously read every post have a good idea of where the thread is right now and how we should interpret the postings of regulars like Jenna, Lastshadow, Tom Sterner, Rookie Dave, and others. I find it somewhat argumentative to start a discussion as to whether a particular post adheres to the original purpose statement. Grow along with the rest of us, Wayne, and leave the past behind.
