I don't know what this abort girl babies is about, but it sounds like a rationalization of misguided do-gooding. 4 will probably be wrong and useless, but 1 - 3 is true. You have to become educated to understand it. 99% of econ majors don't. 90% of econ professors agree with it up to a point. The point of departure is the point where it becomes true. The rejection of this economic truth guarantees the world will persist in the class warfare thinking mode for centuries. It also means both that the poor will continue to suffer more than they need and it behooves you to pursue your own greedy ends. When individuals pursue their own greedy ends, they accomplish the greatest good for the greatest number. Since this is contrary to the obvious, you won't find many to believe it and fewer yet to understand it. To understand it you have have to be truly concerned with the welfare of others.
