Regarding the volatility premium issue others have talked about. It is true. You don't get in with puts for free. You really have to pay up. July 85's were cheaper at 94 than 97. . . which is pretty unbelievable.

I don't necessarily expect AMZN to bounce off some level like 80 and vault to 95 before experiencing the "real decline". However,if it does happen, then it will be more difficult than some might think to make big money on July puts. That lost time will be killer.

Either way, this is going to be one interesting ride. Hopefully, more earnings warnings will hit next week that put a damper on general tech enthusiasm . . not that AMZN has traded with the market.

For you bulls out there . . take a look at KTEL's chart. Thats what could happen to AMZN . . just a friendly warning.
