Bob, Unfortunately, I was not able to get in contact until this evening. Once I got past Helga, the spear carrying Viking woman who screens his calls, we had a reasonably productive chat. As far as profitting $$$, remember that it was me who called him. If you are at all familiar with the Ameritech tariffs, you will know that it costs more to call Band C than to call out of state and, if you think that Pugs is a prolific poster, you should hear him talk. Anyway, I began the conversation by telling Pugs that I have a great respect for his intellect and his accomplishments (something that many of you overlook). However, I told him that I feel that many of his statements do more harm to the cause than good and that ticks me off. Pugs then explained to me his rationale for making certain comments. I might not agree with it, but I do respect it. I had posted to him that if his story was credible, I would recant my post. Whether or not I agree with him 100% is irrelavent, but I feel his theories are credible, particularly now that I have caught up on the day's posts and noticed that little revelation by Nam Vu. We parted still on the same team and I think he said something about sending me an invitation to his Fourth of July picnic. That had better come soon, though, as I had kind of been looking forward to attending a Cheese Fest a little north of here that week-end . <VBG> I will now probably skip the next 50 or 100 posts in which the nays get all over me for having no backbone, blah, blah, blah as once again their purpose has not been served.
