Anybody have more details on IMF loan prospects to Indonesia? Investors Business Daily carried front page note to the effect that IMF will continue with $43 billion loan package it started but that significant conditions were attached - mainly bank clean-ups. Article notes economic conditions leading to TLK rock bottom price - expected 10% negative growth for 1998 and 80% inflation. I'm writing this from memory - hope all facts are stated correctly. I'm holding TLK for long term - at least two years . Economy in that time can improve and telecommunications boom will continue even in Indonesia, a country with the fourth largest population on earth.
