"Maybe if you were not financially vested in your thinking you could see this situation objectively."

I must say that did and does apply to me. I fell for the story hook, line and sinker, and it has become most obvious that it was just a story. I was blinded by greed on this one, and it cost me some money. I realize now it was silly to think of "patient driven" demand. Unless PLSIA is willing to generate such demand with a national advertising campaign in the manner of Rogaine, there will be little such demand. When I finally got my head screwed on straight I asked people that I knew when the last time was that they had "demanded" that their dentist or doctor perform a certain procedure, or prescribe a certain drug. The affirmatives were very rare, and all due to significant advertising campaigns by the company involved.

The bottom line is: When something appears too good to be true, it probably is. I'm glad I'm out, and sorry I chickened out on the short side.
