Be careful not to confuse the two very different issues which are:

1. TAVA doing assessments/audits and leaving remediation to others
2. TAVA doing work outside its core competency

Strategy #1 is a great idea, since it is generally higher margin work and lower risk. For the most part, this is the mode TAVA is in today and should work out well. #2 is a bad idea, as it doesn't leverage the Y2K relationships as "seed planting" for an annuity stream of future project work (or a foundation to springboard into the supply chain integration stuff), plus it presents the unnecessary risk of venturing out of one's comfort zone.

Plenty of work in the manufacturing sector. They should stay there, make a ton of money (for themselves and us), and not be dazzled by shiny objects elsewhere.
