I fully agree, I hate the number 3-for-2. I like the MS and Dell style of stock split. It works everytime. Split, slight consoldation then here we go to $100 again. Even IBM copied the style not very long ago :o)

Hmm Vic. At the Courant Institute of Mathematics, 1.5 for 1 and 3 for 2 were considered the same thing.
