Vanni...

You're slowly reminding me of the guy that shows up at the Keg party uninvited .... drinks all the beer .... eats all the food .... and then passes a little gas when he exits stage left ....

Vanni,

With all due respect, you have to question the intentions of someone who invites Rocky to the thread as their first post. This thread was created to eliminate incessant Rocky posts that the sky is falling and IOM is coming down with it. The rhetoric he would spew began to irritate more than a couple of people. Accordingly, we created a thread WITHOUT Rocky, in order to actually foster serious discussion. While its inappropriate to question your right to post here, everyone would appreciate that you follow the guidelines that were set up. If you desire Rocky's input, go to the other IOM threads. I can guarantee you he is everywhere.

Regards,
Prashanth

I'm new to following IOMEGA, so please, no one bash me for chatting with Vanni.

Vanni, in my brief and humble trading experience, I have seen enough bloodied traders (myself included sometimes) to believe that a company that is laying people off and predicting greater than expected losses is no place for my money. These situations are usually tip of the iceberg. Look at SYBS (24 to 6), INTD (9 to 1), VERS (6 to 3/4), to name a few, to see what can happen to stock prices. These are harsh cases where there was material mis-statement of financial results or gluttonous management by the companies and then widespread stock bashing by the street.

Hey, its your money, but a company that revising estimates down and laying people off is no place for mine.
