Well, I've been completely unable to short any shares today from ETrade. I'm only trying in 100 share blocks but it just isn't happening. Anybody else able to acquire shares to short from ETrade today?

Bill Wexler thinks that negative Barron's articles actually lift the stock price short term. This is due to amateur shorter's rushing in on the heels of the article, and the MMs squeezing them. Don't think that will happen with AMZN, so much has already been said about it.
