James - As someone who has had to rely on state govt contracting funds, I can tell you, it's not fun. If you think we have a variety of opinions on this thread, you ought to take a look at a tiny department say, judicial, that can say hold everything up because of some local potentate who thought he wasn't involved enough in the process. Sinkhole is way too good a word. I'd prefer if there really are time deadlines, and I don't think we disagree here, that TAVA do what TAVA does best and teach some vendor to use the CD on the city and county govt. stuff when there is a lull in trade. Now if TAVA could get the DOD contract, well, I'd cheer. I don't know if dissent means one is a detractor, but I sure have a large number of my family in this stock long for a detractor with an agenda. Not the biggest shareholder here, but probably in the upper ten percent. fma

<<Any contract is a good contract>>.

Couldn't be farther from the truth. You've obviously never done project work in this type of business! <g>

There most definitely ARE bad customers, bad projects, and bad contracts, and anyone who has done muni work can explain why a yellow flag goes up right away when local govts are involved.

On the other side of the fence, I think the manufacturing clients that TAVA has nailed down are EXCELLENT prospects for near and long term revenues and profits. Just want to see more, more more!

I want to reiterate one other thing I've said before...there's a big difference between a "realist" and a "detractor" (and a "lemming"). A "realist" is going to help ensure that expectations are set properly, expectations that might even be *exceeded* (with the commensurate increase in share price). A "lemming" ignores all common sense and reality, allowing blind enthusiasm to create unrealistic expectations that, inevitably, cannot be met, causing serious damage to the share price and corporate reputation.

I, for one, would rather see reasonable, realistic, but aggressive EPS and growth expectations set, have TAVA beat them, and watch the share price fly, rather than let the hype-heads throw out ridiculous numbers and expectations, which when not met, will kill the stock and the company.

Things are not always what they appear.
