Excellent information. Your scenario about not being able to place a trade due to technical problems is correct. I have two accounts with them (neither is traditional.) After the input I've received from several people, like yourself, I believe I happened to hit a uninformed person.

Thanks for the heads up on the "green line" account...I may look into that since I do have two stocks currently trading on the Canadian market.

Bill; This what you said is interesting, how say I'v been trading
DAY on the AMEX, do I trade it on .TO , and if I enter a bid on
the .TO ..will they convert it to US dollars..
like DAY is 7/8 but on TO it may be 1.20c , so it would be cheaper
up there. On top of that if I buy it .TO could I sell it on the
AMEX ?
If so I see some interesting spreads at times, but have not tried
this with webbroker.
