I just had a brief telephone conversation with the U-man. I called Jack for two reasons: 1) to verify in my own the last post from someone saying they called him; and 2) to talk about the possibility of a reverse split. I'm putting his remarks in quotes but not to imply that this is verbatim -- it was a short conversation and only doing this from memory. 1) Someone had doubted the validity of the post of someone saying a group (Tarot's post from RB) that they talked to him yesterday. I guess with all the crazy things going on I wanted to verify it in my mind, too. He said "hell yeah I remember talking to them" He remembered their questions and the answers he gave them. In my mind, this was the right group. No offense to Tarot. 2) Regarding the reverse split -- He said "Now I doubt there's ever going to be a reverse split but I'd be crazy to say that it will never happen because what if for some strange reason it did - where's that leave me?" I pressed him on this and he said " there's too many acquisitions up our sleeves to even think like that." He went on to blast the crazy people on that SI thread -- "they don't know what the hell we're doing here. We've been here 1 month and 4 days today ... this stuff doesn't happen overnight ... we have so much going on. I'm not a PR or IR guy -- I'm an oil and gas man and so are my partners -- we have 200 years of experience and that's what we're doing here. They just don't know and it burns my behind for them to go on and say things that just aren't true and are so misinformed." That's about the gist of it. Not much info, I know, but like I said, I did it for my own benefit. He did tell me to come down and see him when I visit Houston next month. He seems pretty excited about it all.
